Equipping and Encouraging Women in Ministry Vision New England - Women's MinistriesWomen's Ministries is committed to injecting new vitality and productivity into New England churches by equipping and encouraging women in ministry. Why Women's ministries? In today's rapidly changing culture, women have unique needs that require a varied and perceptive approach to ministry. No matter what their season of life they need opportunities to grow spiritually, emotionally and intellectually. A well organized Women's Ministries in the local church may be uniquely suited to accomplish these objectives. Who is impacted? Because of their strategic involvement in the home, workplace and community, women are able to contribute significantly in reaching our world for Christ. Women are key to God's plan for evangelism and discipleship. Churches with vibrant women's ministries experience significant growth, spiritually and numerically. How can we help? Women's Ministries of Vision New England is committed to providing leadership training and ministry resources to assist emerging, as well as established women leaders in their respective ministries. We are strengthening and enlarging the New England network of women in ministry. This network will greatly enhance the resource pool of services for the local church. What does Women's Ministries provide? Equipping....
Encouraging....
Vision New England's Women's Ministry Women's Ministries was established in 1990 under the leadership of Beverly Weinhold to help women grow in their faith, through the study of God's Word. The goal in ministry was, and is, to train, equip and multiply women leaders throughout New England. From 1991 to October 1998 Maggie Rowe directed the work. Under her leadership, the ministry experienced significant growth. Our vision is to realize a healthy, flourishing women's ministry in every New England community and to strengthen and expand the network of Christian women leaders. Linda Moore began as the Director of Women's Ministries in January of 1999. She brings over 18 years of experience as a local church women's ministry leader. While the Director of Women' Ministries at Immanuel Church, she gave leadership to a ministry that evolved from a small women's Bible study to a multifaceted ministry serving over 1,000 women from over 70 different churches and all New England states. Their ministry has been actively involved in transferring many of these ministry concepts to women's ministry leaders who are now practicing them in their churches. Linda has spoken with many women who desire to be used of God in their churches, but who lack the tools to build a vital ministry. It is her belief that, we can change that! She is eager to do whatever she can to help you realize your ministry potential. If you are interested in building a team of Christian leaders in your church, reclaiming New England for Christ, and spreading everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Christ, then join with her by providing intercessory prayer on behalf of this work. If the Lord should lead to help financially she would welcome that as well. For information call: (978) 455-1011 or (978) 929-9800 X 357 email: Psa1611@comcast.net |
